SERVING LEAGUE CITY FOR 22 YEARS
Robert Bruce officially announces his candidacy for League City Council in the November 2026 election, standing as a dedicated public servant and principled conservative with deep roots as a Texas Aggie. His commitment to this community took hold in 2004 when he first joined League City EMS as a volunteer. Throughout twenty-two years of service, he has transitioned from volunteer to a full-time professional, consistently providing life-saving care to residents during their most vulnerable times. During his five-year tenure as President of the League City EMS Association, Robert led initiatives to bolster first responders and their families, successfully advocating for vital pay increases and enhanced professional support. His leadership extended beyond the department through grassroots community efforts, including establishing scholarships, managing holiday meal programs, and ensuring local children received Christmas gifts. Robert has always championed the philosophy that true service is defined by meaningful action rather than personal accolade. After returning to League City with his family in 2020, he remains more committed than ever to his home. Now, Robert Bruce seeks to bring that same legislative focus and servant's heart to the City Council as a representative for every citizen.
